Branching out - new projects, old ideas
Time to brew the new and rekindle the old.
For the moment, the thick of cramOS is done and typed.
It is now time to let it simmer; allow it to breath, play it myself for more than an oneshot.
My immediate instinct is the opposite: to just kick it off immediately, use the modicum momentum available and simply put it out there, close this door as quickly as it opened - this project did dominate my life for the last month more than anything should, worst of all in this particular moment and time. But that would be allowing it to be these outbursts of obsession; intense rabbit holes of unbalance and little sleep.
I propose a different path. A slower buildup; exploring old new ideas, and finally put them into existence. Things such as:
Alien RPG Wealth System - the narrative system for money I developed for my Alien RPG Campaign that made money fun to adquire and use.
Mausritter Bannercall Campaign Format - Ruleset for the hexcrawling army building campaign style for Mausritter I also wrote up in a dozen discords messages that can absolutely be a viable product.
Salami Heist - Short adventure for Mausritter to steal the grand Salami from the diver's bar and never work again in your life.
Where is Spring? - Short adventure for Mausritter to recover Spring from the belly of a frog when the season failed to come after a cold Winter.
The Dreams Behind Your Eyes - Short Odd-compatible horror adventure about saving a sleepless island village from its nightmares, both awake and asleep.
THE LAST AGE - A Biblical Cosmic Horror Campaign for Mythic Bastionland about humanity's last years, as heaven falls and hell ascends.
Strovlos Station - A Mothership Megastation Adventure. Pull the secret threads of the spinning station to reveal a deep conspiracy that can destroy the place you call home.
And many more!
Well, probably many less. This is close to all I prepared for my own games these last few years, it is more probable not all of them become edited and published. But this is all ideas that are done and executed, so I wonder if they are easier to make palpable.
Allwhile typing it all out here. Let's get to make this blog thing a Thing.
