Magnolia,
By the time these words reach you, I am certain they will be my last. What a cruel jest. After a lifetime of extensive research, of distilling the essence of being, for the eternal life to be reserved to those dead. To be destined to gift others with renewal but die myself, lacking a lackey capable enough, lacking any love from hands other than yours that could keep me here, so that you would not be alone.
I wish for this letter to find you, my Magnolia, so that you may hold, for yourself, the secrets I so closely held. To you, my love, I gift you the entire fruit of my labor, the entire culmination of my life's work. To accompany you, I have hoped my pets were not much of a bother.
I traveled the world to make you whole once more, and I have succeeded. In the process, I am now too sick to return, too poor to even loan my favors. But in here lies everything you will need. I will assure it gets to you, for others are now bound to find your home. Try to be kind to them; but let them know our belongings are now only yours.

MISSION BRIEFING.
This is a short adventure for INTO THE ODD and any adjacent games, to be played in a single session.
DEAR MERC ADVENTURERS,
You have in your hands the final letter from Jorgius Trimegistus, renowed ALCHEMIST, to his presumed dead wife-to-be, Magnolia, sent for a previously undisclosed location. As Jorgius spent his last years before death traveling until broke, investigate the location for reclaims to cover his debt, such as: experiments (failed or successful), a philosopher's stone, the secrets of transmutation, et all.
WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON.
Jorgius succesfully brought Magnolia back from undeath, but it left her HOLLOW. On the journey of its discovery, he learned soul transmutation, infusion and other experiments that now live - or fester - his old home and secret lab. He traveled the world for how to make her whole again, only to realize he already had all the pieces he needed, but not the time to return. This is all part of his plan: to carry this letter as well as the cure back to his HOLLOW love. The Players may enter the home and find its secrets for their employers selfishly, or the may attempt to help Magnolia, if she doesn’t end them first.
